Quote

Normal is Abnormal

“The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. “Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does.” They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.”

O Loneliness

By Bhuvi M

I get up in the morning,

Alone in the bed;

I glance all around,

To find there is no one,

To say good day;

I pull myself to start afresh,

As I stride through,

The daily chores;

As I talk to myself,

Ahead the day seems bore.

I leave the house,

My heart ekes out,

With the loneliness,

Seeded deep within;

I walk to work slowly,

On the way I see,

People with smile,

Seemingly happy ways;

Are they all not,

Lone as always!!

Be Grateful

Don’t take anything for granted in life even if you have got it easily; things, people, resources, blessings; each needs to be respected for what they are. The day you start taking them for granted, the time they will start you taking for granted will be just round the corner.”

Happiness Vs Silliness

“Sometimes a little silliness is all we need to get a better perspective of life’s greatest challenges. Silliness is the carefree, sometimes crazy, and often misunderstood stepsister of happiness. May we be a friend to both, and smile our way through life’s twists and turns.”

Pseudo Existence

“How pseudo are we in our thoughts, outlooks, words and action. What we say we don’t follow and that we follow we don’t believe in and that we believe in we don’t say. The eternal cause of dilemma of human existence and conflicts.”
